100th Anniversary Earthquake Information Workshop

Since Turkey is in an earthquake zone, it will be discussed what the necessary precautions are, how engineers and architects are effective in ensuring the safety of people in future earthquakes, and how buildings and infrastructure can be made safe by accepting that earthquakes are a natural event.
In the workshop, we will showcase the progress we have made with our students and research assistants on these issues in the last 3 years with a short video. At the end of the video, we will invite our students to the stage.
At the end of the speeches, a sample earthquake shaking simulation will be performed in the building laboratory on the B-2 floor.
