This course aims to enable students to give and receive information, ask and answer questions about various topics related to themselves and their family, such as daily activities, travel, education and career. In addition, it aims to enable students to make short statements and ask/answer simple questions (in simple sentences) in the present, past and future.

This course is designed for students to acquire a second foreign language. Students acquire basic grammar and vocabulary. They express themselves with basic sentences used in everyday speech, introduce themselves and others, and obtain information. ARB101 Arabic I

The objectives of the course are mostly to reflect on the Arabic language, to gain a basic understanding of Arabic sentence construction and to be able to express it orally and in writing in a simple, everyday language. Also, to develop students' skills in the use of a reasonable standard of pronunciation and sentence structures and to apply them in the spoken and written form of a simple, everyday language.
