FRC101 French I
This course aims to enable students to give and receive information, ask and answer questions about various topics related to themselves and their family, such as daily activities, travel, education and career. In addition, it aims to enable students to make short statements and ask/answer simple questions (in simple sentences) in the present, past and future.
FRC102 French II
This course aims to develop a good command of the French language in order to be able to discuss various topics and answer questions related to French and French culture. The main aim of the course is to give students more practice in speaking and writing activities.
RUS101 Russian I
The aim of this course is to learn how to write using the Cyrillic alphabet. Greeting and introducing oneself in daily life. Expressing numbers and times orally and in writing. Talking about and understanding daily activities.
RUS102 Russian II
The aim of this course is to enable students to describe everyday life using a second foreign language. Students will introduce a family or another person, ask and tell prices and give directions.
GER101 German I
This course is designed for students to acquire a second foreign language. Students acquire basic grammar and vocabulary. They express themselves with basic sentences used in everyday speech, introduce themselves and others, and obtain information. Give and understand information about their hobbies, desires and food preferences.
GER102 German II
This course is designed to help students acquire a second foreign language. Students develop basic grammar and vocabulary. They give information about the past tense. Make comparisons about general topics. Speak slowly and clearly and understand what is being said. Give basic directions and information about places and directions. Briefly make daily and weekly plans.
ARB101 Arabic I
The objectives of the course are mostly to reflect on the Arabic language, to gain a basic understanding of Arabic sentence construction and to be able to express it orally and in writing in a simple, everyday language. Also, to develop students' skills in the use of a reasonable standard of pronunciation and sentence structures and to apply them in the spoken and written form of a simple, everyday language.
