Program Educational Objectives


A1: To be able to analyze, design, develop production, service and socio-economic systems, identify problems encountered in these systems, make effective decisions to solve these problems and apply these decisions by considering social and ethical responsibilities.
EA2: To be able to present his/her work in a professional manner in written, oral and visual form.
EA3: To be able to manage and lead interpersonal relationships with team awareness in multidisciplinary environments.
EA4: To be able to continuously improve themselves by acquiring new knowledge and skills.


Program Outcomes
1. Adequate knowledge in mathematics, science and subjects specific to industrial engineering; ability to use theoretical and applied knowledge in these areas in complex engineering problems (PO1)
2. Ability to identify, define, formulate and solve complex engineering problems; ability to select and apply appropriate analysis and modeling methods for this purpose (PO2)
3. Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product under realistic constraints and conditions to meet specific requirements; ability to apply modern design methods for this purpose (PO3)
4. Ability to develop, select and use modern techniques and tools needed for the analysis and solution of complex problems encountered in engineering practice; ability to use information technologies effectively (PO4)
5. Ability to design and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze and interpret results for the investigation of complex engineering problems or research topics specific to industrial engineering (PO5)
6. Ability to work effectively in disciplinary and multidisciplinary teams; ability to work individually (PO6)
7. Ability to communicate effectively in Turkish, both orally and in writing; knowledge of at least one foreign language; ability to write effective reports and understand written reports, prepare design and production reports, make effective presentations, give and receive clear and understandable instructions (PO7)
