Student Affairs

Altınbaş University Student Affairs Department was established in accordance with Article 51/a of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and serves on the 1st floor of Mahmutbey Campus, Block A.

It carries out the following duties specified in Article 31 of the Decree Law No. 124 on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education Institutions:

  • Entering student quota suggestions into YÖKSİS / ÖSYM database,
  • Making registration preparations for students placed in our University by ÖSYM. Registration of students who are placed in our University as a result of ÖSYS-YKS, Additional Placement, Vertical Transfer, Horizontal Transfer and Special Skills Exam,
  • Requesting or sending the documents of incoming and outgoing students through horizontal transfer,
  • Preparation and preservation of student files,
  • Printing and distribution of student ID documents,
  • Conducting and monitoring students' course registrations, curriculum transactions, grading procedures and graduation procedures through automation,
  • Preparing and announcing course and exam schedules,
  • Preparation of diplomas, diploma supplements and temporary graduation documents,
  • Issuing transcripts, student certificates, temporary graduation certificates, diplomas and diploma supplements to students,
  • Performing student dismissal and exit procedures,
  • Conducting correspondence with YÖK, ÖSYM, KYK, other institutions/organizations and units of our University regarding Education and Students,
  • To prepare the duties and documents requested by the Rectorate and the General Secretariat,
  • Preparation of statistical data and reporting.

The Student Affairs Department provides the necessary contribution to the regular and healthy conduct of the education and training process at our University, and prepares and presents information and documents to students, academic staff and all units and institutions we are in contact with in a timely and accurate manner. For this purpose, it uses information technologies at the highest level, carries out its duties effectively, quickly and accurately, within the framework of the relevant legislation, in accordance with ethical values, and provides services by caring about the satisfaction of its stakeholders.
