Altınbaş University (formerly Istanbul Kemerburgaz University) was established by Mehmet Altınbaş Education and Culture Foundation in 2008, and our Faculty of Pharmacy started education in 2012 in Mahmutbey campus. Our faculty, which completed the necessary infrastructure in a short time, moved to the "Bakırköy Health Campus", where the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Health Vocational School were brought together in the 2016-2017 academic year.
In addition to the undergraduate education given in 100% English, our faculty, which constitutes Türkiye's first patient-oriented undergraduate curriculum and which is based on the 9-star pharmacy education in which the World Health Organization defines the features that should be in the pharmacists of the future, gave its first graduates in the 2016-2017 academic year. .
As of September 2020, it continues its education and training activities with 17 faculty members, 11 research assistants and 4 technicians. Pharmaceutical Sciences Doctorate Program is also continuing under the Health Sciences Institute.
Currently, there are 9 students in the doctoral program. Under the leadership of the faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy and with the contributions of the faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, the Natural Products Research and Development Center (DÜAGEM) was brought to Bakırköy Health Campus.
