25th Williem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court

Our university's Virtual Court Team consisting of law students Duygu Demir, Nazmiye Karadana, Tuana Keskin, Feride Fulya Çekiçer, Burak Kocagöncü participated in the 25th Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Virtual Court Competition in 2018.

Our students participated in the 7th Istanbul Pre-Moot organized by Istanbul Bilgi University to prepare for the competition.

Altınbaş University Faculty of Law team was paired with the University of Ottawa from Canada, Lancaster University from England, Turku University from Finland and FAAP - Foundation Armando Alvares Penteado Faculty of Law from Brazil. The hearings were held between March 24-29.

26th Williem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court

The virtual court team of our faculty, consisting of law faculty students Tuana Keskin, Klara Miran İpek, Tuğba Şimek, Talha Evran and Sinem Solmaz, participated in the 26th "Willem C. Vis International Arbitration" Virtual Court Competition held in Vienna in 2019.

In preparation for the competition, the team of our Faculty of Law held preparatory hearings with the teams of Istanbul University, Bilgi University, Galatasaray University and Marmara University. On Saturday, March 2, a Pre-moot event was held at our faculty with the participation of Istanbul University, Bilgi University and MEF University. Our team also prepared for the competition by participating in the 8th Istanbul Pre-Moot organized by Bilgi University.

As part of the Willem C. Vis Virtual Court Competition, our team competed against OP Jindal University from India, Tyumen University from Russia, USC Gould University from California and Nice University from France. The trials were held between April 13-16.

27th Williem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court

The Virtual Court Team of our university, consisting of law faculty students Lale Katharina Öztoprak, Esma Yıldız, Duygu Nur Ceylan and Ayşenur Demir, participated in the 27th Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Virtual Court Competition in 2020. The hearings planned to be held in Vienna between April 4-7 were canceled due to Covid-19; however, it was decided to hold the competition online through the "immediation" platform.

Our students participated in the 9th Istanbul Pre-Moot organized by Istanbul Bilgi University and ISTAC to prepare for the competition.

Within the scope of the Online Virtual Court competition, Altınbaş University Faculty of Law team was paired with Pernambuco University from Brazil, New York University from the USA, Bhopal University from India, and Lamonosov Moscow State University from Russia. Online hearings were held between April 4-7.

28th Williem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court

The virtual court team of our faculty, consisting of law faculty students Melike Çelik, İsra Han, Nisa Nur Güngör, Ahmet Deveci, Hüseyin Albayrak, Osman Taha Avşar, Mert Çelik, Sinem Sena Gültekin, Rabia Amil and Seyda Nur Polat, participated in the 28th "Willem C. Vis International Arbitration" Virtual Court Competition in 2021.

In preparation for the competition, the team of our Faculty of Law participated in the 15th Hannover Pre-Moot held between February 15-20, the Istanbul Pre-Moot organized by Istanbul University between February 26-28, the 10th Istanbul Pre-Moot organized by Bilgi University between March 20-21, and the 11th Budapest Pre-Moot between March 22-25.

As part of the Willem C. Vis Virtual Court Competition, our team was paired with Wuhan and East China Political Science and Law University from China, Münster University from Germany and Sorbonne University from France. The hearings were held online between March 27-30.
