Painting Exhibition Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Republic

The Painting Exhibition Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Republic, organized by Altınbaş University Faculty of Applied Sciences and curated by Prof. Dr. Nurcan Perdahçı, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, was opened to visitors.

Within the scope of Altınbaş University's 100 Events for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Project, the opening of the Painting Exhibition Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Republic, organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences and curated by Prof. Dr. Nurcan Perdahçı, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, took place.

The exhibition, which includes the works of Ekrem Yılmaz, is waiting for art lovers at Gayrettepe Campus between February 19 - 21.

Ekrem Yılmaz, who answered our questions at the opening of the exhibition, stated that he loves the impressionism movement in painting. Ekrem Yılmaz said, "I love the world of colors very much. I include shadow and light plays in the paintings I make with watercolor technique."

Yılmaz, who is a retired soldier, said, "I like to interpret what pleases my eyes and makes me happy. I was interested in painting while studying at high school and university, but I have been concentrating professionally for 2 years."
