5 Unforgettable Events During Youth Week
Altınbaş University celebrated the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day with events organized throughout the week. The events, which came before the finals, gave the students a boost of morale.
May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk Youth and Sports Day was celebrated with enthusiasm on the 105th anniversary of Atatürk's landing in Samsun.
Altınbaş University also celebrated the week covering May 19 as Youth Week with different activities.
The events started on Monday, May 13 with Altınbaş Dancefest. Dance Clubs from more than 15 universities participated in the festival organized by Altınbaş Dance Club.
On Tuesday, May 15, a chess tournament was organized with the students of the Chess Club within the scope of Sporfest 2024.
On Thursday, May 16, CAREERENG X - Coding Knowledge event was organized in cooperation with Altınbaş University Career Center and IEEE Club. In the event, speakers who are experts in their fields and have competence in many subjects came together with our students.
On Friday, May 17, Ener Law Academy Hypothetical Case Competition was hosted by Altınbaş University. Very valuable names of the legal community took their place in the jury seat of the competition. Competitors from different provinces participated in this prestigious hypothetical case competition organized across Turkey and had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills.
While the Hypothetical Case Competition took place at Gayrettepe Campus, there was another exciting event at Mahmutbey Campus on the same day: TEDxAltınaşUniversity. Guests and participants who came together under the theme of harmony had unforgettable moments with a mini concert at the end of the event.
Again within the scope of Youth Week activities, an Award Ceremony was organized for Altınbaş University Student Clubs. We congratulate all our clubs who received awards.
