Our Sailing Team's Awards
Altınbaş University Sailing Team is having a period full of success in the 2023-2024 academic year. Our team returned from the BAUISC Spring Trophy
Our team, which successfully returned from the 4th Presidential International Yacht Races Republic 100th Anniversary Cup, drew attention with its outstanding performance at BAUISC organized by Bahçeşehir University International Sailing Club.
Altınbaş University Sailing team returned from BAUISC Spring Trophy "Helly Hansen - Sport Works Cup" with the first place in the cruiser class under the main skipper Hasret Can Ünek.
The third stage of the BAUISC Spring Trophy, "Helly Hansen - Sport Works Cup" took place on Saturday, April 27. The competition, in which 43 boats competed in IRC, SportsBoat and Explorer classes, was held on the Caddebostan course.
In the Explorer class, Altınbaş University- Cenoa, skippered by Hasret Can Ünek, took first place.
After the boats returned to the marina and recovered, the teams that ranked in the Helly Hansen-Sport Works Cup were awarded at a ceremony organized by Istanbul Sailing Club. Congratulations to our students.
Our sailing team also came first in the Navigator class in the 4th Stage BAU Bosphorus Sailing Cup held on May 5.
