“Best Preliminary Preparation Award” to our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Students

Our Faculty of Applied Sciences Gastronomy and Culinary Arts students participated in the Rooted Flavors New Horizons Cooking Competition in Karaman.

Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University recently hosted a cooking competition under the theme of Karaman Cuisine from Tradition to Future.

Our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts students also took part in the Rooted Tastes New Horizons Cooking Competition, which aims to modernize Karaman local dishes by staying true to their essence in order to increase the recognition of Karaman Cuisine and thus make them available to hotel and restaurant menus.

As the only foundation university participating in the competition, our students competed with students from 9 different universities.

As a result of the competition, our students were awarded the “Best Preparation Award”.
