Caminhos do Cinema Português Film Festival
Dr. Janet Barış, Faculty Member of Altınbaş University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, represented Türkiye at Caminhos do Cinema Português, the traditional film festival of Portuguese cinema.
Altınbaş University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema Faculty Member Dr. Janet Barış served as an international jury member at Caminhos do Cinema Português Film Festival.
Organized for 29 years and of great importance for Portuguese cinema, the festival took place in Coimbra, Portugal between November 9-19 this year.
Until this year, the festival had only featured Portuguese film selections, but this year was a first and an international jury was invited. Dr. Janet Barış, Faculty Member of Altınbaş University Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, took part in the international jury formed in partnership with FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics). Barış represented Türkiye in Portugal as a jury member. As Altınbaş University, we congratulate our faculty member.
