ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING GRADUATION SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMS
In accordance with Article 28(1) of the Altınbaş University Associate and Bachelor Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulation; pursuant to Article 44 of Law No. 2547, students who have not exceeded the maximum duration of education are granted the opportunity to take supplementary exams in the fall, spring, and summer periods for up to three courses (excluding practical, applied, project, workshop courses, and internship applications) in order to fulfill the attendance requirement for graduation.
(2) Students in their final term whose enrollment is terminated due to having a GPA below 2.00 despite passing all the required courses are granted unlimited exam attempts in courses of their choice to improve their GPA. However, if they receive a lower grade than their current one, it will not be considered. Attendance is not required for courses other than practical, applied, and previously unattended courses.
(3) Students who have not taken any exams consecutively or intermittently for a total of three academic years are deemed to have waived their unlimited exam rights and cannot benefit from this right. Students who are eligible for unlimited attempts must continue to pay the student contribution fee/tuition fee per course they take exams for. However, these students cannot benefit from other student rights apart from exam rights.
(4) Grades obtained in supplementary exams are recorded on the transcript as the final grade for the course. If the grade obtained in these exams is lower than the current grade, it will not be considered. No make-up exams are held for supplementary exams.
