Altınbaş University Energy and Environmental Research Centre (EÇAM) has been established to cater solutions to environmental issues caused by mass energy consumption and growing energy needs; join and contribute to existing solutions; promote solutions at social and corporate level; and raise public awareness of environmental issues.
In line with these objectives, EÇAM has created a thriving academic environment and provided reliable resources to research energy and environmental issues in Turkey and in the world from an economic, social, political, ecological and technical perspective as well as to ensure that the applications developed by the Centre are effectively put into practice. Conducting practical research on local and global energy and environmental issues, the Centre also holds various academic and educational events, develops new projects to enlighten the public about environmental concerns and initiatives.
