Altınbaş University in World Rankings
Our university was among the universities ranked from Türkiye in the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings.
Times Higher Education (THE), the world university ranking organization, announced the best universities of 2025. For the first time, Altınbaş University was included in the 'World University Rankings (WUR) list announced by the International Higher Education Rating Organization Times Higher Education (THE). Ranked in the 1501+ category worldwide, Altınbaş University ranked 34th among the universities from Türkiye and 12th among foundation universities.
12 universities from Türkiye entered the top 1000.
Altınbaş University stood out in the fields of research quality, international outlook and industry. While 91 universities from Türkiye were included in the list, which includes universities from 115 different countries around the world, 12 universities were included in the top 1000.
Altınbaş University Research Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Kaygusuz reminded that Altınbaş University has been in the “reporter” status in previous years in the Times Higher Education WUR ranking (THE), which it entered for the first time.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Kaygusuz stated that our university has previously entered the top 400 in different categories in the Impact Rankings by THE, but this is the first time it has been included in this study conducted by THE in which universities are ranked, and this result will be an important indicator for the rising reputation of our university. Kaygusuz stated that our university continues to be one of the top 100 universities in the world in terms of international student ratio and that our next goal is to increase our visibility in the field of education and research and to be among the top 1000 universities.
