Altınbaş University Research Dean Assoc. Prof. Hakan Kaygusuz said:

“The competence of our university in the field of research is seen in the studies conducted by its researchers. SCImago ranking uses completely objective criteria. There is no reporting of any data from universities. The more reputable publications you have produced as a result of your scientific studies and the more interest they have been shown by other researchers, the higher the score you get. Our research metrics have always been good in the URAP ranking among Turkish universities, but we were very pleased to be ranked 11th in this ranking, where research outputs are measured entirely. Our goal is to always be one of the top ten universities among foundation universities in the field of research.”

Kaygusuz stated that he considers scientific rankings among universities as a competition in which there are no losers and said, “This is a race in which everyone wins. As a result of scientific competition between universities, valuable information is produced to understand nature, societies and individuals. Various technological developments are produced with the applications of this knowledge.”
