Altınbaş Üniversitesi received its second ISO certificate.

Altınbaş University, following the internationally recognized Quality Management System certificate, has also obtained the ISO Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificate.

Within the past year, the efforts to obtain the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard certificate have yielded positive results. Altınbaş University has been awarded the internationally recognized ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard certificate following audits conducted by the NISERT International Certification and Audit Services Certification Body.

The primary objective in obtaining this certification was to establish a healthy and safe working environment for employees and students at Altınbaş University campuses by taking necessary precautions to prevent workplace accidents, occupational diseases, and injuries before they occur.

To achieve this goal, the university initially established occupational health and safety policies and commitments in compliance with all relevant legal regulations in place to ensure a safe working environment and accident prevention. Subsequently, adjustments were made to implement the international organization's standards in accordance with laws and regulations, and training programs were conducted.

As a result of these efforts, all Altınbaş University campuses have been made compliant with the standards set by ISO for occupational health and safety systems.

According to the regulations, the system will be subject to surveillance audits by the organization at least once a year.

The Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) is compatible with Altınbaş University's previously acquired Quality Management System (ISO 9001), providing a systematic and sustainable framework.
