As part of the 10th-anniversary celebrations, Altınbaş University hosted a Law and Sustainability Symposium. Prior to the symposium, an honorary doctorate was presented to Prof. Dr. Heinz-Peter Mansel, the Program Director at the University of Cologne.

Prof. Dr. Mansel, who leads the program that offers international career opportunities for its graduates, expressed his happiness and honor regarding the honorary doctorate and emphasized the importance of the double degree law program in the last 10 years. He mentioned the historical connection between Atatürk and German scientists during Germany's dark times, highlighting the significance of their collaboration.

Prof. Dr. Mansel noted that the double diploma program has been highly beneficial for its graduates, and he highlighted the success of this collaboration between Altınbaş and Cologne, which was the first double degree law program in the field. He encouraged others to follow this model in their own collaborations.
