6th Istanbul University Introduction Days Fair

Altınbaş University is participating in the 6th Istanbul University Introduction Days Fair on January 9-10, engaging with prospective students. The university's stand at the fair features EVA Team, career guidance counselors, and a promotional team to assist students with career planning.

 

Dr. Duygu Kotan Türkden, the Student Dean of Altınbaş University, mentioned that the purpose of the fair is to bring together approximately 16,000 students with 60 universities. She stated, "At this fair, students can experience many different professions simultaneously and can choose the ones that suit them."

 

Dr. Duygu Kotan, Student Dean of Altınbaş University, emphasized another important aspect of the fair for the university, saying, "We also receive scholarship applications from here. We provide scholarship opportunities to students who want to progress with us."

 

Providing information about Altınbaş University's Inspire Future Scholarship, Dr. Kotan explained different aspects of the scholarship: "At Altınbaş University, we say to university candidates, 'Not only your academic success matters, but also tell us about your talents. Let us provide you with a scholarship based on those talents.' We are not just talking about academic success. The definition of success is different for our university."

 

Dr. Kotan emphasized the importance of goals and perspectives on education, stating, "Receiving a scholarship based on your dreams and future goals is an important opportunity. Our university does not necessarily seek professional talent but values efforts. If you have a passion, for example, in music, come to us and tell us about your dreams and goals. In return, we will provide you with a scholarship in line with that."
