Dear Students
With the development of the dentistry profession in Türkiye, "Dental Assistantship", which has one of the most important roles in the clinical practice of the profession, has started to gain importance and has become a sought-after occupational group within the sector. Students who complete the "Oral and Dental Health" program, which aims to train the technical staff who assist the dentist in his clinical work, will be entitled to receive an associate degree diploma and will have the title of "Oral and Dental Health Technician". In the light of the theoretical and practical knowledge gained during the two-year process, students will be able to work in the oral and dental health units of public and private organizations after graduation.
Within Altınbaş University, thanks to the rich educational staff and the clinical integration of our Faculty of Dentistry, our students will have the opportunity to increase their professional environment and communication at the highest level on the way to their future career goals. Thanks to this program, we bear the responsibility of raising our students in accordance with ethical values in order for them to master the basic principles of oral and dental health as well as to be individuals who will benefit the society in their professional lives. Depending on this awareness of responsibility, our students, in addition to practical and theoretical training, will have an education that will have information about health management in order to gain a holistic perspective on the health system, practice management and patient registration in terms of helping the physician's clinical management, and professional ethics that will interpret the work with human values and put human health at the center. We have no doubt that this educational content will guide our students in their academic life in the following years and will bring our students to the points they deserve.
As Altınbaş University Vocational School of Health Services Oral and Dental Health Program, we are aware that the future will be illuminated by the light of young people. We are ready to enlighten our students with all our knowledge and experience to reach this light. Let's not forget that academic units can only be pioneers when they have well-equipped teaching staff, they can move up in class and help their students see their future brighter.
