Dear Students,

Laboratory practices and lab equipment systems in Turkey and worldwide are rapidly evolving, the number of modern laboratories is increasing every day, which leads to a growing need for highly qualified laboratory technicians.

Our academic programme is carried out in an unprecedented system where theoretical and practical courses are simultaneously offered. Successful graduates of the programme will be able to work as “medical laboratory technicians" in different types of laboratories right after graduation.  

Our graduates are mostly employed in medical schools, hospitals and private medical analysis laboratories, IVF centres, blood banks, dialysis centres, and in all laboratories engaged in medical R&D activities. Medical lab technicians are one of the key elements of the healthcare industry as they provide tremendous support to physicians and patients, in terms of detection, differential diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of diseases.

Our graduates can either start their careers in different laboratories or sit for the DGS (Vertical Transfer Examination) to pursue a bachelor's degree in many various disciplines including biology, molecular biology and genetics, biotechnology, biotechnology and molecular biology, genetics and bioinformatics, genetics and bioengineering, bioengineering, nursing, nursing and healthcare services.
