First and Immediate Aid

About the First and Immediate Aid Programme

Also offering evening classes, the programme aims to train healthcare professionals capable of performing life-saving medical interventions and injury prevention by providing treatment and care to patients or victims at the scene of accident prior to professional medical care.

In this programme, students are taught how to communicate effectively with patients, show them the proper respect, and how to become effective team members.  

What We Offer

» We offer our students clinical internship opportunities where they can combine their theoretical knowledge with professional practice and use this knowledge as a foundation upon which they can build their professional skills; to this respect, students can gain work experience through hands-on training, learn the right ways to effectively communicate with patients during their two-year studies.  

» The fact that we offer our courses at the same campus that is home to Medical School, Dental School and the School of Pharmacy provides students with the opportunity to experience theoretical learning in hospital laboratories equipped with cutting edge technology. 

» Learning from professional faculty gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience. 

» Students have the opportunity to take part in Erasmus mobility activities for learning and placement.

Career 

Our graduates are mostly employed in emergency services of public and private hospitals affiliated with Turkish Ministry of Health, 112 emergency centres, 112 emergency control centres, private ambulance services, etc. ​
