Department Facilities
Our department employs 5 full-time faculty members and 2 research assistants and has modern physics and chemistry laboratories that can be used for research and education. In each academic year, our department offers more than 30 theoretical and practical courses in three campuses of our university, especially in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.

Department History
Altınbaş University Department of Basic Sciences was established in 2012 as one of the four departments affiliated to the former Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Our department was affiliated to the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture in 2016. Since its establishment, it has been teaching mathematics, physics and chemistry courses to different departments of Altınbaş University with its expert lecturers. In 2019, "Basic Sciences Seminars" with international participation started to be organized by our department.
