Our Faculty of Dentistry receives significant interest on Carousel

As part of Oral Health Week, Altınbaş University Faculty of Dentistry set up an information booth at Carousel Shopping Mall in Bakırköy, carrying out an important awareness campaign for public health. The booth, which remained open throughout the day, featured faculty members and students who provided information to mall visitors on the importance of oral hygiene, proper tooth brushing techniques, oral health in children, preventive dentistry practices, and the necessity of regular dental check-ups.

The Dean of Altınbaş University Faculty of Dentistry, who visited the event, congratulated the students and academic staff for their work in the field and emphasized the importance of direct contact with the community. The Dean said, “Oral and dental health are an integral part of overall health. As a faculty, we continue to raise awareness not only in clinics but in every environment where the community is present.”

Visitors benefited from the free oral health screenings, while educational materials and informative brochures were distributed to children. Altınbaş University will continue to contribute to public health through similar social awareness events.
