It's the turn of our Faculty of Pharmacy for the white coat excitement!
At the white coat ceremony organized by Altınbaş University Faculty of Pharmacy with the participation of the dean of the faculty, academicians, students and their families, young pharmacist candidates took the first step into their professional lives.
Delivering the opening speech of the ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tanol addressed the students and drew attention to the meaning and importance of this special day. “Today is a turning point for you,” said Prof. Dr. Tanol and continued his words as follows:
“The white coat is not just a piece of clothing; it is also a symbol of responsibility and a passion to serve people.” He said.
Prof. Dr. Neşe Buket Aksu from the Faculty of Pharmacy guided the young pharmacist candidates with her presentation at the ceremony.
“Today is Pharmacy Day. Not everyone is lucky enough to wear a white coat on such a day.” He started his words by saying.
“Whatever you do, you have such a profession that it is a big spectrum. You can work in pharmacy, you can work in industry. You can be a clinical pharmacist, you can work anywhere that can serve public health.” He emphasized that the pharmacy profession is a wide field.
The ceremony ended with the students wearing their white coats.
