Our dentistry students received their white coats

Altınbaş University Faculty of Dentistry dressed its students in their white coats for the 9th time this year.

The ceremony started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Şebnem Dirikan İpci, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.

Prof. Dr. Dirikan İpci said, “Our faculty aims to train the bright dentists of the new century who have self-confidence with its dynamic, innovative and researcher academic staff, who look at life from a broad perspective, who have a developed understanding of professionalism and ethics compatible with the age of technology, who are inquisitive, scientific and emotional intelligence.” At the end of his speech, he thanked the rector and vice rector of our university.

Prof. Dr. Dirikan İpci said, “I would like to end my speech with a quote from our ancestor: All our hope is in youth.” He ended his speech by saying.

Then Prof. Dr. Cemal İbiş, our vice rector, took his place on the stage. Prof. Dr. İbiş started his speech by saying, “Today, we are experiencing one of the most special and meaningful moments of our dental journey together.” He started by saying. 

Prof. Dr. İbiş added: “Remember that this white coat is not just a dress, it is a symbol of healthy teeth and most importantly our passion for helping people.” He emphasized the importance of the white coat.

After Prof. Dr. Cemal İbiş's speech, the ceremony was opened with the awarding of the white coat to the students. Assist. Prof. Dr. Cemal İbiş's speech, the ceremony continued with the recital prepared by Research Assistant Prof. İlayda Demircioğlu.

Then our students received their white coats respectively.
