Altınbaş University welcomed 26 new Erasmus+ students
Altınbaş University welcomed new exchange students with the Erasmus+ Orientation Program.
Altınbaş University hosted 26 Erasmus+ exchange students from 15 different countries on Tuesday, February 4, in addition to the 64 exchange students hosted in the Fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The orientation program, which was organized to facilitate the adaptation process of new students to the university and Istanbul, started with the opening speech of Altınbaş University Erasmus Coordinator Aybala Işık.
Within the scope of the orientation program, exchange students were provided with detailed information about the academic and social opportunities of the university. With the information presentations made by the Student Affairs, Dean of Students Office, Library and Distance Education Center (UZEM), students gained basic information about their education and life processes.
In the last part of the orientation program, ESNAltınbaş (Erasmus Student Network) team provided information about the events and social activities to be organized during the spring semester. In this way, students had the opportunity to be involved in social and cultural activities, not only limited to academic information.
The orientation program aims to provide incoming exchange students with a week full of on-campus opportunities, group activities and cultural excursions to help them adapt to both academic and social life in the best possible way.
