Altınbaş University hosted ICRACE'24 Conference

Altınbaş University is hosting the International Conference on Recent Advances in Computer and Engineering Technologies, where the latest innovations in computer science and engineering technologies are discussed.

The International Conference on Recent Advances in Computer and Engineering Technologies (ICRACE'24), where the latest innovations in computer science and engineering technologies are discussed, will be held on December 26-27, 2024 at Altınbaş University Mahmutbey Campus. The hybrid and face-to-face sessions are being held simultaneously in cooperation with Bahria University in Islamabad.

Delivering the opening speech of the conference, Altınbaş University Rector Prof. Dr. Çağrı Erhan said that the relationship between the two countries dates back many years. Prof. Erhan thanked those who contributed to this scientific cooperation between Altınbaş University and Bahria University, one of the most important universities in Pakistan, and emphasized the importance of such joint conferences.

Touching on the issue of artificial intelligence, Erhan said, “Artificial intelligence is now in every aspect of our lives. When we wake up, we first look at our smartphone. It may even be possible to have artificial intelligence write a historical novel.” He emphasized that artificial intelligence technologies have found a strong field in a wide range of fields ranging from social sciences to literature.

Prof. Dr. Galip Cansever, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, said, “ICRACE'24 offers a platform that encourages the sharing of knowledge and innovation by bringing together local and foreign researchers, academics and industry professionals. Such events have once again demonstrated the importance of international cooperation in the advancement of technology. I hope that our conference will make significant contributions to international cooperation and knowledge sharing in the development of computer and engineering technologies.”

In addition to Bahria University academics, speakers from Turkey, Pakistan, China, Mexico and the UK, and officials from the Consulate General of Pakistan in Istanbul attended the event.
