External Stakeholder Workshop was held at Altınbaş University

External stakeholder representatives from various sectors that the university cooperates with participated in the workshop held under the coordination of the Department of Strategy Development and Quality Assurance. Prof. Dr. Karacabey emphasized the importance of learning in his speech and said: “Not wanting to learn is a good definition of old age. We are one of the young foundation universities in Türkiye and I would like to state that we are an institution that really cares about learning. These meetings we organize every year are of great importance for the development of our university.”

Karacabey also mentioned the three main meetings organized by the university and gave the following information:

“First, we come together with our students and try to improve ourselves by listening to their thoughts. Secondly, we meet with our external stakeholders; these meetings allow us to take innovative steps away from prejudices. Finally, we are holding the senior management meeting where we shape the strategic plans of our university by evaluating the results of these two meetings.”

Collaborations and Future Strategies Discussed

Prof. Dr. Karacabey emphasized the importance of the workshop and stated that the views of external stakeholders contribute to the university's strategies for the future. He stated that universities should not only compete within themselves, but also focus on growing together:

“Although it is thought that there is competition among foundation universities, the most important thing is that we grow together. We have a lot to learn from each other.”

At the workshop, cooperation projects to increase students' career opportunities after graduation, sectoral expectations and the future vision of the university were discussed. Participants from different cities in Türkiye praised Altınbaş University's physical infrastructure and quality of education.

Collaboration for a Common Future

Prof. Dr. Karacabey stated that the workshop served as a bridge between the university and sector representatives and concluded his speech with the following words:

“The feedback from the sector is very valuable for us to raise our students as more qualified individuals. By strengthening our cooperation with you, our valuable stakeholders here today, we will move forward with stronger steps into the future.”
