Distinguished Names Met at the Child Rights Panel
As November 20, International Children's Rights Day is approaching, Altınbaş University ILSA Altınbaş Law Club organized a Children's Rights Panel.
World Children's Rights Day, which was first celebrated in 1989, is celebrated by the United Nations (UN) to bring the rights violations faced by children all over the world to the agenda.
Altınbaş University ILSA Altınbaş Law Club organized a “Children's Rights Panel” event as this special day approaches.
In the program, Altınbaş University Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Yeşim YILMAZ, Istanbul Bar Association Child Rights Center Spokesperson Av. Çağla Gül BULUT and Clinical Psychologist Firdevs TOK took part in the program.
In their speeches, the speakers discussed issues such as the effectiveness of child protection mechanisms, restorative justice practices, legal and social dynamics in the rehabilitation process of children, and psychological and ethical approaches that should be considered in interviews with children.
