Our University Stands Out with Its Research Quality and International Outlook in THE 2026 World Rankings
Our university ranked in the 1501+ band globally and 41st in Türkiye this year, achieving a remarkable milestone by reaching the 770th position worldwide in the international outlook metric.
The Times Higher Education (THE), a UK-based international higher education ranking organization, has published its 2026 World University Rankings (WUR). For the second consecutive year, our university ranks in the 1501+ order globally and 770th in the international outlook metric.
Our university ranked 41st overall and 16th between foundation universities among Turkish universities included in the rankings. In terms of international outlook, it ranked 15th in Turkey and 13th among foundation universities. In the rankings, which were conducted in various categories, our university stood out in areas such as research quality (30.3), international outlook (54.5), and industry (24.1). Our university exceeded last year's scores in all criteria, including education, training, and research environment.
Our university ranked 66th among all universities evaluated in Turkey and 16th among foundation universities in the research quality category. A similar ranking was also achieved in the industry sector, ranking 47th in Turkey and 12th among foundation universities.
These achievements, particularly in areas such as research quality, internationalization, and industry collaborations, demonstrate that our university is progressing toward its strategic goals. In the coming period, we aim to further build on this success and make our name even more prominent on both national and international platforms.
