In the “International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle” competitions, which will take place between August 12-17, 2024 at the TUBITAK Marmara Research Center in Gebze, Kocaeli, and are part of TEKNOFEST, Türkiye's most prestigious technology festival, Altınbaş University's Electric Vehicle Team EVA Team is preparing to prove its achievements in the field of energy efficiency once again.

Organized as part of TEKNOFEST, Türkiye's largest technology festival, this competition will be a platform for EVA Team to showcase their electric vehicles, which they have designed and developed with great effort and dedication for a year, and will witness a sweet competition among the universities participating in the competition.

Since 2018, EVA Team, which has made a name for itself in electric vehicle technologies, has achieved great success in a short time. The team, which is among the leading university teams in Türkiye with 32 projects they have developed so far and 12 awards they have won, continues its assertiveness in this year's competitions. In recent years, the team has placed third three times in the International Efficiency

Challenge Electric Vehicle competitions. In 2023, the team won first place in the Technological Applications in Psychology competition organized for the first time at TEKNOFEST and wrote its name in gold letters.

In the races to be held in Gebze this year, EVA Team will compete with the strong synergy created by students from different disciplines coming together. EVA Team aims to shape Türkiye's technological future by developing projects in areas such as the International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Competition, Robotaxi-Robotaxi-Ride Autonomous Vehicle Competition, Unmanned Underwater

Systems Competition, International Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition, Rocket Competition, Technological Applications in Psychology Competition, and Hack Masters Competition.

EVA Team's goals this year include focusing more on domestic technologies, producing innovative projects and representing Türkiye in the international arena in the best way possible. The team's success in the races in Gebze will bring them one step closer to the TEKNOFEST 2024 Exhibition and Award Ceremonies to be held in Adana on October 2-6, and will once again demonstrate the power of Turkish engineering.
