Altınbaş University is hosting an international training school event in the field of Implementation Network Europe for Cancer Survivorship Care, which is considered an important step in strengthening international cooperation in cancer research in Türkiye. The event also aims to contribute to the systematic support of care for cancer survivors across Europe.
Approximately 90 participants, including researchers from various European countries and academics from different cities in Türkiye, will attend the COST Action event, ‘Implementation Network Europe for Cancer Survivorship Care’ (INE-CSC), to be held at Altınbaş University. Assoc. Prof. Nilay Aksoy, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at Altınbaş University, is the local organiser of the training school.
The training programme, designed specifically for early-career researchers and doctoral students, will cover topics such as:
Digital solutions research methodologies,
Leadership skills development,
Ethical research conduct,
Innovative approaches to symptom management in the cancer journey.
Supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) and the European Union Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, this event is being held under the CA21152 COST Action project. Both in-person and online participation in the training school will be possible, and registration is free of charge.
The event, considered an important step in strengthening Türkiye's international cooperation in cancer research, aims to contribute to the systematic support of care for cancer survivors across Europe.
