OUR DEPARTMENT IS CLOSED FOR STUDENT ADMISSION IN 2020 - 2021 ACADEMIC YEAR.
Textile and Fashion Design Department aims to educate students who can think universally, present unique designs and works of art with the appropriate training model. The department has a contemporary profile with strong and dynamic academicians who have expertise in their fields, who have sector experience, and who have acquired academic and artistic production principles.
The program has been arranged according to academic norms which designers meet the expectations of the industry and to educate qualified artists to speak in contemporary art environment. Curriculum consists of theoretical and applied courses for basic textile fields including clothing, printing, weaving and knitting.
Four-year training process are supported with Co-op programs with the pioneers of the textile industry in Türkiye, summer internships, student exhibitions prepared during the semester, panels organized with participation of invited speakers from the fashion and textile sector, organized workshops, participation opportunities to international exhibitions.
Textile and Fashion Design Department which aims to prepare them for tomorrow by offering high quality education with the awareness those current students will be designers and artists of the future with innovative projects, strong communication and interdisciplinary approaches; the student considers the necessity and responsibility of providing the appropriate conditions.
