We remembered our father once again with respect, gratitude, and longing...
As Altınbaş University, we continued our tradition this year and commemorated Atatürk with great longing and gratitude at ceremonies held across all our campuses on the 87th anniversary of his passing.
The founder of our Republic, the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was commemorated with ceremonies held at our university's Mahmutbey, Bakırköy, and Gayrettepe campuses on the 87th anniversary of his passing.
At the commemorative ceremonies, which were attended by our academic and administrative staff as well as our students, life came to a standstill at 9:05 a.m. Participants once again expressed their respect, gratitude, and longing for Atatürk by observing a moment of silence. At the ceremony held at our Mahmutbey Campus, our Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal İbiş, who laid a wreath at the Atatürk bust together with our students, emphasized in his speech following the moment of silence and the recitation of our National Anthem that the ideas of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, will always live on, saying, "We once again commemorate our father with respect and gratitude. We will not forget him or the ideas he left us, and we will not let them be forgotten."
The ceremonies once again highlighted the significance of Atatürk's principles and reforms for the Turkish nation. Participants expressed their deep loyalty and gratitude to the founder of our Republic and reiterated their determination to continue on the path of modernity he showed us.
