Dear students,

Students must start the 2023-2024 academic year fall semester PHAR581 Advanced Community Pharmacy Practices internship on 02.10.2023.

• The originals of the documents must be submitted to the Res. Res., until the end of working hours on 22.09.2023 at the latest. See. It must be delivered to Irmak ALEV by hand.

• Documents to be sent by courier must be sent to the school by 22.09.2023 at the latest.

• Internship applications will not be accepted after 22.09.2023.

• Applications made via e-mail will not be accepted.

• In order to be accepted for the internship exam, the online internship form must be filled out completely. The link and QR code for access are available below.

 

Note: In order to have a healthy application process, it is important to apply immediately when the necessary documents are ready, without leaving everything to be done until the last minute.

 

The internship start date should be 02.10.2023. Anything before or after this date will not be accepted.

(Another internship will not be accepted while taking the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care course, which will start immediately after this internship.)

 

Documents to be delivered by courier must be delivered in a closed envelope with the attention of Irmak ALEV written on it.

Points to consider when determining an internship location:

• All Intern students must comply with the provisions of the school's internship directive.

• The pharmacist in charge of the pharmacy where the internship will take place must have at least 5 years of pharmacy experience.

• The pharmacy where the internship will take place must have an agreement with SSI.

• The pharmacist in charge of the pharmacy where the internship will take place must not be related to the intern.

• If the pharmacy where the internship is performed does not work on Saturdays, interns must extend the internship period by the missing days when determining the internship dates. Likewise, the internship period should be extended for working days that coincide with public or religious holidays. The main thing is to complete 20 working days.

• In all internships, attendance and compliance with the institution's working hours are mandatory.

 

Documents to be submitted for internship application;

• Internship application form signed by the intern and the responsible pharmacist of the institution accepting the intern (indicating the internship start and end date). (1) Link​

• A signed petition stating that the intern is doing the internship with his/her own will and consent. (1) Link
